Well today was Project document submission day for us. We dint struggle like this even for choosing the project.Even though we had all the source and finished our 75% of documentation work, we had no time to finish the remaining. We were discussing a lot for how to take printouts and where to take it. Finally we took the printouts near Jerusalem College where it was cheap. And then we went to the college for submitting it where we came to know that we should have minimum 80 pages for documentation and we had just 45 pages, So we just added our codes along with it and then submitted it and rested. All found it difficult since the day before we had our farewell given by our Juniors. Otherwise we could have done it easily .
Hi friends. I hope you would have heard about the latest news about the IPL(Indian Premier League) . This one was originated in England for buying English and other players for playing in their team for Football. But they cant match both the games . Football is completely a hard game and we can see players running behind the ball for 90 minutes. Whereas this game will be interesting only if two giant teams clashes. Moreover this raised disappointments in many players like Ponting who got a very low bid for his name. Lets see whether this goes right or wrong. I think due to this many hidden untalented guys can be found.
The following are the bid amounts and winners for various teams in the Indian Premier League:
Vijay Mallya won the bid for the Bangalore team for $111.6 million.
Shah Rukh Khan won the bid for the Kolkata team for $75.09 million.
GMR Holdings won the bid for the Delhi team for $84 million.

India Cements won the bid for the Chennai team for $91 million.
Deccan Chronicle won the bid for the Hyderabad team for $107.01 million.
Emerging Media won the bid for the Jaipur team for $67 million.
Ness Wadia won the bid for the Mohali team for $76 million
Bogged down by slower-than-usual Internet speeds for the last couple of days? Brace yourself for a couple more such days…
The reason: Internet access in India and large parts of West Asia including the UAE, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia has been hit following breakdown of two undersea cables in the Mediterranean Sea.
The disruption was caused by an anchoring ship that accidentally damaged Indian-owned Flag cable and SEA-ME-WE after being diverted from the Egyptian port of Alexandria due to bad weather.
Repair teams have already set sail for the location but the disruption that started yesterday hasn’t yet been resolved. Reportedly, it will take a week to a fortnight to restore services back to normalcy.
Indian Internet service providers have put the disruption at 60 percent of normal services, while those in Egypt have put it down at 70 percent of normal services.
The Indian capital almost but all logged out following the disruption, with Internet service providers putting it down at at least a 50 percent loss of service.
Across the country, irritable customers complained that they were unable to access Web sites and that the Internet was drearily slow. Cyber cafes had no explanation for the Internet’s erratic behavior. By contrast, BPOs across the country remained largely unaffected by the breakdown.
Indian Internet service providers have now said they’ve started a downgraded service, but that full restoration might be possible only after ten to fifteen days.
Apart from India, Cairo suffered a partial disruption of Internet services and other telecommunications across most of Egypt. Internet services were also disrupted in Dubai in the UAE. International telephone services were affected by the cable breakdown.
MICROSOFT chairman and cofounder “Bill Gates” has called for “creative capitalism” as a new approach for businesses to help stamp out global poverty and disease.
Gates told the civil society and business leaders present “We have to find a way to make the aspects of capitalism that serve wealthier people serve poorer people as well. I like to call this idea creative capitalism.”
He cited the example of a partnership between the World Health Organization and an Indian pharmaceutical company to sell meningitis vaccines to poor people in African countries at a controlled price that is lower than competing vaccines.
Really nice to see a person like this .
Hi friends . I am in a confused state whether i should be proud to say or i should be ashamed to say that my college got an first on-campus .CSS. Dont mistake it for Cascading style sheet. It was
Cybernet Slash Support. Totally 150 students attended the ppt(power point presentation) in the morning and after they announced the salary and other informations the strength reduced to 75 . Since the salary was 8000 starting and after two months they will increment it to 10k and after training period they will check for the performance and then decide to give more salary or not. The most funniest thing is that they had a bond of 8 months. I couldnt tolerate that when i heard from my friends. So i expect a nice comments from you friends. Come on fire……
Marshall was to tend horses or to arrange things in preparation for a feast. In heraldry, marshalling is the arrangement of several coats of arms to form a single composition. In the military, marshalling is the gathering and ordering of military forces in preparation for battle.
In computer programming, marshalling is the process of gathering data from one or more applications or non-contiguous sources in computer storage, putting the data pieces into a message buffer, and organizing or converting the data into a format that is prescribed for a particular receiver or programming interface.
Marshalling is usually required when passing the output parameters of a program written in one language as input to a program written in another language.
hi friends. you all would have heard boxing day recently . The meaning for that day is that the people in the foreign country start posting the gifts to the Box similar to the post box during the month of December . The gifts will be collected and it will be opened on the day after the Christmas . That is on 26th december and the gifts will be distributed to the poor people . This is one way of donating the materials to the poor people in a peculiar name.
The seventh sem comes to an end and we are going to face our last paper which is Information Security. Really a informative paper but looks very vague. The staff which took that subject made that paper look so dry otherwise it would have been an interesting one. The classes in that period were not that much informative like the other subjects and i dont want to talk more than this about that faculty because the mistake was also with us(students) . We took that paper very easy since it looked fully theoretical like the management paper and made all soughts of fun in the class and dint attend most of the classes and now we realise our mistakes and feel for those mistakes. But still we have a little bit of confidence at the corner of the heart which can turn this paper easy in this sem . Lets hope for the best.
The latest service introduced by Finarea SA. Like VoipBuster it’s offered for access through a softphone, but can also be used with a standard SIP client, including Asterisk (this mode is undeclared and not officially supported). The domain name of the SIP proxy/registrar is sip.voipstunt.com , and resolves to the same set of IP addresses as sip1.sipdiscount.com. The server is not Asterisk-based, only supports G.711 and G.726 codecs (GSM announced as available soon), and does not speak IAX. Only dtmfmode=inband is supported.
The domain name connectionserver.voipstunt.com, used by the softphone client for Windows, resolves to a set of IP addresses larger than sip.voipstunt.com, and some of the hosts in that set only seem to support the undocumented protocol used by the softphone client, not the SIP protocol.
The ILOVEYOU virus comes in an e-mail note with “I LOVE YOU” in the subject line and contains an attachment that, when opened, results in the message being re-sent to everyone in the recipient’s Microsoft Outlook address book and, perhaps more seriously, the loss of every JPEG, MP3, and certain other files on the recipient’s hard disk. Because Microsoft Outlook is widely installed as the e-mail handler in corporate networks, the ILOVEYOU virus can spread rapidly from user to user within a corporation. On May 4, 2000, the virus spread so quickly that e-mail had to be shut down in a number of major enterprises such as the Ford Motor Company. The virus reached an estimated 45 million users in a single day.The attachment in the ILOVEYOU virus is a VBScript program that, when opened (for example, by double-clicking on it with your mouse), finds the recipient’s Outlook address book and re-sends the note to everyone in it. It then overwrites (and thus destroys) all files of the following file types: JPEG, MP3, VPOS, JS, JSE, CSS, WSH, SCT and HTA. Users who don’t have a backup copy will have lost these files. (In March 1999, a virus named Melissa virus ?also replicated itself by using Outlook address books, but was less harmful in destroying user files.) The ILOVEYOU virus also resets the recipient’s Internet Explorer start page in a way that may cause further trouble, resets certain Windows registry settings, and also acts to spread itself through Internet Relay Chat (Internet Relay Chat).
