Flintoff and Peterson Highest Bid
Friday, February 6th, 2009Kevin Pietersen started at $1.35 million, his base price, and was bid for by Bangalore Royal Challengers. There was a delay before Rajasthan raised the bid. Bangalore, however, raised the bid again and bought Pietersen at a cost of $1.55 million dollars, the same price as Andrew Flintoff. Pietersen and Flintoff are the most expensive players in the league.
Bidding for England’s star allrounder Andrew Flintoff started at $950,000. Rajasthan Royals entered the bidding late for Flintoff, raising the bid to $1.5 million, but Chennai’s bid of $ 1.55 million clinched Flintoff. Flintoff is now the most expensive player in the IPL.
Obama 44th president
Tuesday, January 20th, 2009
The stage is set in front of the Capitol, where Barack Obama will be sworn in today as the 44th president. Up to 2 million people are expected in Washington for the ceremony and festivities.
Obama is expected to make public service and sacrifice a strong theme of his inaugural address just after noon today, calling on all Americans to work to solve the nation’s problems. Yesterday, thousands of people around the country heeded Obama’s call for a day of service.
Traffic Day
Sunday, January 11th, 2009Hi Friends. I think most of you would have faced the same problem which i faced few days back. The roads were blocked for the sake of security since our Prime Minister came Chennai for the inaugural function held at trade centre in Butt road. Actually the same thing happened the day before when he came from Airport to a Hotel in Mount Road. You can see the way the Government giving importance to the people by blocking the main place in Chennai which is prone to a huge traffic at normal time. Due to this many people suffered as their work got delayed and most of them missed their flight. Just for name sake they are telling that Government is by the people, for the people and of the people. More over apart from blocking the road there were nothing much in giving security to Prime Minister. Any one among that crowd can try to do any damage. No one was managing the crowd.

Nice one!!!
Saturday, December 6th, 2008Friends, as I was browsing through the net, I happened to read this. I really liked it and felt like sharing with you all. Here it goes……
U love someone,
U marry someone else.
The one you marry becomes your wife or husband.
And the one you loved becomes the password of your mail id.
Really I accept with this one. Generally the name of your loved one becomes the names of your children or password in most cases. What do you think, leave your comments….
